Alzo International Incorporated was founded in 1975 by Albert Zofchak who, as a chemist, had been in technical sales and marketing positions with several large chemical companies. Using his extensive knowledge of chemical synthesis, as well as his understanding of manufacturing, he started his company with the goal of developing innovative organic chemical specialty intermediates. Over the course of 25 years, its established reputation for creating unique and multifunctional ingredients, combined with its outstanding attention to quality and service, have contributed greatly to the remarkable growth and success of Alzo International Incorporated.
Today Alzo International Incorporated is an organization with staff of more than 25 professional and dedicated employees in functions of Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Control, Administration, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service and Distribution. Alzo International is located on 14 acres in Sayreville, New Jersey. The 72,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility is the center for the company's administration, sales and marketing, research and development, quality assurance, quality control and distribution departments.

Alzo International is the owner and co-owner of 15 patents with 1 pending. The highly experienced staff of research scientists possesses expertise in all facets of technical support including product synthesis, process development and product formulation. Alzo works closely with its customer's technical staffs and welcomes and encourages joint research project programs.

The successful growth of Alzo has in great part been based on our ongoing belief in focusing on maintaining the highest standards of quality of its products and service. Alzo maintains a staff of quality assurance, quality control and analytical support professionals who as the "gatekeepers" ensure that Alzo's products meet the stringent specifications of its customers. Alzo received ISO9001 certification in December of 2000.

In September of 2000 Alzo International began full operational capabilities of its new manufacturing facility Pharmetic Manufacturing Company, LLC. This undertaking will provide increased manufacturing capacity for Alzo to meet the growing needs of its customers, but also epitomizes Alzo International's belief in the exciting future of the company.
